Fred Rogers Co. producing animated series

For many Pittsburgher’s nothing can replace Mister Fred Rogers charm, but for youth today growing up without a Fred Rogers there may be a little hope coming from an animated tiger in a red hoodie.
Fred Rogers Co. is launching a new animated series for fall 2012 about Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood, a neighborhood made to feel familiar because it is the Neighborhood of Make-Believe! The new character Daniel is the son of Fred Rogers puppet Daniel Striped Tiger. Most of the show will tie in Fred Rogers references and make the show feel at home for a new generation.
