The rebellion is over, more whiskey to come

Western PA has very strong roots with whiskey, but until recently it has not seen a distillery in many years. Wigle Whiskey is about to change all of that by opening Pittsburgh’s newest distillery in the strip district. Named after Phillip Wigle a local man with love of whiskey who helped spark the Whiskey Rebellion. Some may find Wigle Whiskey’s logo interesting with the noose but it plays homage to Mr. Wigle as he was hung due to his resistance.
