Map shows big Google Fiber response

The Google Fiber nomination period closed midnight Friday, and in a post on the official Google Blog the company released this map showing responses. Unless we miss our geography, it seems to show Pittsburgh as having one of the largest numbers of individual responses. The large dots indicate community responses where more than 1,000 people submitted nominations, and the small dots are government responses. Google says it will analyze all the data, meet with people, and pick a winner or winners by the end of the year.
