Here’s a good old Duke Beer ad, Duquesne Brewery renamed it’s staple beer Duquesne Pilsner to Duke in the late 60s to help make it easier for consumers to name the product and to rebrand the brand for a larger market. Unfortunately the company and the beer would soon fade away.

Westinghouse neon sign
Westinghouse has a very well known logo created by famous graphic designer Paul Rand. Paul is also responsible for designing the IBM, UPS, and ABC logo. Bakery Square former Nabisco Bakery
The former Nabisco Bakery in East End where Google will hold offices is part of the Bakery Square development. Above are renderings of the project, from these renderings it appears the project will offer a lot of additional usages including townhouses and retail space. Google to open offices in East End →
The East End continues to become more hip as it begins to house some of Pittsburgh’s top tech companies. Now Google is joining in the ranks of Deep Local and becoming part of the East End community. Google is expected to have thier offices in the former Nabisco bakery. This is fantastic news for the East End as it will create jobs and futher aid in revitalizing the area.
